Laura Bee
piano teacher, collaborative pianist, and solo artist
I am a Minnesota native who recently moved to Duluth, a town I have dreamed of living in ever since I was a child. I have over 10 years of experience as a piano teacher and collaborative artist. In December 2015 I received my Bachelor of Science in Music from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. From 2015-2022 I worked in Dubuque, establishing myself as a highly sought-after teacher and accompanist. Since moving to Duluth I have worked to build my piano studio, currently teaching 40+ students each week. I have also begun taking organ lessons, started working at a church, worked at Lake Superior Youth Chorus for two years, started playing at UMD, and done accompanying work for several area schools.
My main passion is teaching piano to students from any musical background, at any age. I create a unique teaching method for each student, depending on what learning style they might have. Each student has different needs and goals, and I work with them to make those goals become a reality.
